Jonathan D. Lovitz is a nationally recognized small business and public policy advocate, community organizer, and currently serve as the Senior Vice President of the NGLCC. In his role, he serves as head of advocacy and political work and press secretary, where he has been responsible for establishing the more than twenty county, city, and state laws passed over the last four years opening up contracting and economic opportunity to minority small business owners, including veterans, those with disabilities, and LGBTQ-owned businesses. 

 In 2020 Lovitz created the PhillyVoting.org initiative, to expand voter registration and confidence in his city of Philadelphia. Locally, Lovitz is regular organizer, mentor, and speaker for groups including: the Global Philadelphia Association  AmeriCorps PA; Students Demand Action PA; Philadelphia Diversity & Inclusion Summit; Liberty City Dems; and more. 

Lovitz is a regular speaker on MSNBC, CNBC, NPR, and Bloomberg, among others, and has served as a keynote speaker for the US Dept. of Defense, Us. Dept. of Treasury, the United Nations, The Trevor Project, Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, and more.

The Advocate Magazine named Lovitz a "2019 Queer Icon" alongside some of the year's top activists, artists, and political figures. In 2018 Lovitz was recognized by Philadelphia Business Journal as a "40 Leaders Under 40” in 2019 as well.  Lovitz graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida, where he was named "Outstanding Young Alumni" in April 2018.
